Good boot until it failed

"I bought these for my wife in early winter 2024, they only lasted 1. 5 winters of fairly light use (dog walking and such) before the rivets failed. It looks to me like a quality control problem. I've had Keens for years and it seems to me like the quality has gone downhill lately."

Fit too narrow. GREAT quality + customer service!

"I ordered a pair of these at the recommendation of Sam from customer service, since my first choice was out of stock. They were a great recommendation. I so badly wanted these to fit, because the quality was top notch and I knew these would be comfortable, if only the toe box were a bit wider for my big clown feet! Unfortunately I had to return these because the next size up is out of stock, but I look forward to buying a pair of great-fitting Keen boots next time my size is in stock!"

Poor quality parts ruins a great boot

"These boots are (with an added insole), comfortable, warm, and great for tromping over snow and ice. I’d give them 5 stars except that one ofthe cheap plastic lace hooks that allow the boot to stay closed snapped off after 3 weeks of use. I’ve never seen this part of a winter boot made from any material besides metal, and apparently “lace hardware” is NOT covered by Keen’s warranty. I want to buy another pair of Keen’s but knowing that I could be throwing away so much money? I have to switch to another brand with a better warranty and better manufacturing practices."

Best Boots for winter ever.

"I bought my pair about 6 years ago. THey are red! Love that color. I think it was called rutabaga or something rich like that. Gorgeous color and so comfy. I always go to these boots first. I also own a pair of Oboz winter boots which I love - but my Keens are my favorite. i wish they would come back in that great color - when mine wear out - they are still alive and kicking. So so comfortable and wide enough for my feet. I walk about 7-8 miles weekly and in the winer too. My Keens keep me going. Thank you Keen!!"

Q&A

Do I order my regular size or do I go up 1/2 size? In US sizes I wear Women's size 8 and in EU sizes I wear 39. I am asking because I will wear warm socks with these boots. Northern Wisconsin, forest.
It may be advisable to order a half size up for the best fit.
How solid is the arch? I've suffered from plantar fasciitis in the past. I have an old pair of Keen brown leather winter hikers that I still LOVE. I really need something dressier (hahaha) to wear in my cold work environment.
