Perfect for Winter Hikes - Toasty Toes
"I got these for winter hiking. After it snowed 12", they did well walking around town. My feet were warm and strayed dry walking through slush. I even went on a winter hike in the mountains and they had great traction on snow & ice. They come with a warm insole on the bottom, but I had to add an additional insole for cushion & support. Overall, plesantly surprized by these boots & would recommend. I'm super excited to use these for future winter adventure!"

Best Boots
"It took me a long time to replace my old, worn out Keen boots, because I loved them so much. These boots are awesome! Wore them for an hour hike, no pain. The traction was great on icy, snow covered sidewalks. My feet stayed toasty in the cold. Could not be happier with them. Love the look."

Comfortable boot but Wet feet
"I loved these last winter. . I just took them out of the closet for a hike today in the rain with my dog, my feet started to feel wet after a mile or so. I thought maybe I’m wrong and my feet are just chilled. . took them off and went out again later in the day when the sun came out and sure enough the foot bed was soaked. They maybe waterproof in the snow but bring extra socks and expect wet feet in the rain!"

straight out of the bag disappointed
"This is my 4th keen pair, they arrived in a yellow bag in keen-logo paper, upon unbagging I was disappointed as the pair was full of dust/discoloration and a dent (which I'm not sure will compromise the comfort and insulation or not) as shown in the photos attached. I understand leather outer material might attract dust and whatnot but I had to double check if I ordered a used pair on ebay by mistake but no, it was from the keen website. Those are the reasons why I left a review before testing in the field. The condition straight out of the bag left me saddened. Might edit the review later after testing, if possible."

wrong size, so had to return
"Boots look great and probably would have worked if the size was correct. I ordered a 7. 5 as that is what I wear in other boots, but these had too much room in the front of the toe. Width was correct in the toe box."

I LOVE MY KEENS !
"I moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2011. I noticed a lot of people wearing these really cool shoes. I finally asked someone what brand of shoes they were wearing and they told me. KEENS ! I immediately started researching this brand and bought my first pair at REI. I found I wore a 9 1/2, and every pair of Keens I have purchased since I have bought the 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly.. My last pair, the woman’s revel for polar waterproof boots Was true to its size. However, there was slightly a bit more room so that I could wear thick socks, when it was cold out. Which is a lot of the time here. Not only are the shoes top quality but the service is five stars. I purchased a pair of boots on Amazon the seller did not stand behind the Keen guaranteed. He got in touch with Keens and they immediately got back to me and sent me a credit for the original price that I paid. I was able to get the same boots same size in a different color. I also was able to purchase a pair of flip-flops because my boots had gone on sale. So this product gets five stars, service, five stars and every pair I have ever worn is 100% comfortable."

In love with these boots!
"The fit on these is amazing! They feel plush and comfy inside. Could stay in these for hours and hours. The color is great and gives it a good contrast look. Good warmth without feeling over heated. Good traction. Definitely more cushion than other styles. I just tried on a Revel III and thought it would fit the same, but there is more shock absorption in this style. I walk my doggy a lot so it isn't always nature I'm walking on. This make walking on cement feel great in the knees and ankles. Solid boot and will always be my go to. Thank you so much! These are perfect and will order more. Don't change them."

Great boot!
"These boots are impressively waterproof. With the drenching the Northeast has been experiencing these past few months they have really had a chance to prove themselves. I took one recent hike on trails that were mostly under water. I was basically soaking these boots up to the tops of my feet for an hour straight and I came home with dry socks. Very nice! The other feature I appreciate is the extra height and ankle support. Many high boots dig into the ankle, but these are soft and gentle on those tender bones, while still offering maximum twist protection. And to top it off, the two-tone orange and brown is quite a jaunty look. The only down side for me is the sizing. But I can't subtract a star because that's a me problem. I ordered size 8.5, as I always do with Keens because they run big compared to other brands (in which I typically wear a size 9). I tried them on with nice thick hiking socks and they felt too tight and too short. So I exchanged them for a pair of size 9s, which turned out to be the typical Keen 9, too big on me! My feet slide uncomfortably unless I really crank down on the laces, which can cause its own discomfort if you don't do it just right. So I guess my particular feet are between sizes on this particular boot. But all in all, they do their job and I have tread many a mile in them through snow, slush, mud, and streams in warm, dry comfort."
