"I bought these for my wife. They are very well made and appear to be of very good quality. but they were a half size too large, Because of the style, she felt that there was insufficient ankle support. She is elderly and has difficulty walking on uneven surfaces such as cobble stones. Because your rules prevented us from swapping them for another style, we posted them back for a refund. In anticipation for a prompt refund on the first purchase, today, I bought her a pair of Targhee Apex in size 5. 5."

Please make these in a narrow width.
"I have a narrow foot and cannot find hiking shoes that fit. I have had to add inserts in the heel area for that, but that is not completely satisfactory. I would really love these if I could get them in a narrow width. I have been wearing them on trails in the Smokies this week."

"Great walking shoe. They won't win any fashion prizes but they do win on instant comfort and spacious toe width. I'm very happy with mine. Pink lining will get dirty and probably difficult to clean - didn't think of that when I bought them!"

"I give this product one star for the following reason. At the start of the purchase on their website I was led to believe I would qualify for a 10% discount as a first time buyer. Pleased with this prospect, I went ahead with the purchase but did not receive any discount. At that time an email appeared in my inbox telling me my 10% discount is waiting. . . but I had already made the purchase! Makes me feel I was tricked and will therefore not use this company again."

"I swopped a size 5 for a 4. 5. Very easy and quick free return thank you. Lovely fit and so comfortable. They feel sturdy but not heavy. I have yet to test to see how waterproof they are."
