"Absolutely love the Targhee Apex shoe, super comfy, great fit and secure heel lockdown. Wore them for the first time walking the Malvern Hills, 14 miles straight out of the box, no break in required. Roomy toe box allows toes to splay. No hot spots or blisters at all. Cannot recommend Keen enough, they are now my only go to brand for all my hiking and trail running footwear needs."

Fine Quality but bad overall.

"Inline with Keen Quality, wider toe box and great tread pattern. This hiking shoe doesn't really do anything well. Comfort is on the lower end, durability is on the lower end, it's not stiff enough to support hiking with anything beyond a very small daypack but at the same time doesn't have the comfort a softer shoe would have. If the price was half or even less. . . then maybe yes. . good value. Any run of the mill trail running shoe does what this shoe does but better and usually for half the price."

"I love the fit and feel of the shoe as well as the design, however the soles are wearing out already after only a month. Whatever the tan sole rubber is simply does not stand up to trail wear. Sad to give two stars but it's a trail shoe that doesn't seem to like trails."

I read people were slipping in rain on concrete. Is the sole not good for walking on concrete? I live in a rainy area and walk on concrete surfaces and hike. Thank you.
