"I had to request a refund as the left shoe was too big for me and rubbed my foot as it was loose. Most of my shoes are KEEN and I have not had this issue before regarding one shoe being significantly bigger. The right shoe was great and fitted perfectly and was very comfortable. I was so disappointed that I had to return them. I shall try other styles and see if there is a better fit for me."

"On the face of it, when I tried these shoes on they felt comfortable, but a little narrow across the arch of my foot, being new and not worn in, it is difficult to pass complete judgement hence 4 stars. I will be putting my orthotics in as I have pes planus, (flat feet) I hope these will fit in like the other shoes from keen. I have bought Keen shoes before and have not been disappointed. I am hoping to wear them in on my next camping trip."

"These shoes fit perfectly! Other hiking shoes that I have purchased in the same size cause toe pain when hiking because they are so narrow in the toe. These are perfect!"

6. 5 is actually a 7, and Poor Customer Service

"The size 6. 5 in Primose/Alloy were mislabeled and actually size 7 when compared with the same shoe in a different color. Customer service vehemently, and I mean intensely denied this issue was possible. They did work with me to send 3 different pairs with free shipping which were all the same. I also ordered a size 6 to compare. I had to drive 1. 5 hours to find the shoe in store and directly compare. I sent measurements and photos. I was pretty much gaslit and sent back to Fan Services from Management. They truly did not care about the error or my experience. I did have a good in-store experience and that review is online. The shoe itself could really use more padding. Does seem waterproof in rain and very small puddles. No data on longevity or construction yet. Overall mostly happy with the shoe- but again sizing was a nightmare and I have talked with a friend who had sizing problems with KEEN kids shoes/sandals."

Sturdy, comfortable shoes

"I few weeks ago I went into the Keen Garage in Palo Alto. I was immediately met by a friendly and knowledgeable woman. She listened well and understood my longstanding issues with my feet. She lead me to find several shoes that were supportive and very comfortable. Several of the ones I tried on were 40% off too which was wonderful. I purchased one there and ordered 3 different pairs online. So grateful for the wonderful service and a big shout out to Keens!!"

Not keen quality hiking shoes

"I did not like the look of the shoe, what's with the heel??? I got past this because it did a good job with shallow water crossing. Less than a year with long hikes and daily dog walks the shoe has rips and pin holes no longer waterproof even with (Nixwax and super glue). The soles of the shoes are still good. These just are not meant to last. I have used other keens shoes lasted 3 years, this one does not match their usual quality. I will use these until soles are worn payed 150 already."
