I was concern with the high ankle sides as I have never use such a high ankle boot before, but it was no issue. The delivery was also very quick and efficient. Excellent service. "I'm a real fan of Keen Footwear. Over the years I've purchased various hiking & walking boots as well as sandals. My last pair of Targhee III fit so well that I've just purchased another 2 pairs (in different colours). I'm a size 4 and don't need to alter my size when ordering. They fit like a glove and don't need breaking in. The only down side is that they don't last as long anymore. My original pair lasted 15 years! The more recent versions only last around 5 years. But nothing seems to last very long anymore!"

"Good fit - only tried them out walking once so far - but comfortable straight out of the box. One small negative - only one set of lace retainers instead of two so a bit difficult to tie up securely."

"Normally I love Keen. I’ve had several pairs in the past so when I needed a replacement I naturally went for a brand I can trust. They fit perfectly as expected but they squeak and creak when I walk in them. It’s very loud and I feel a bit self conscious. I really don’t know what I can do about it."

"Ordered a size 4. Perfect. Lovely fit on foot. I like the spacious feel of the toe box and the great arch support. I'd have liked 2 pairs of lace hooks to make it easier to re-loop the laces to tie lower down but that's my only observation. Other reviewers were right. . . no breaking in needed! A great fitting boot for my feet."

"It's great to have a boot with such a wide toebox. My feet survived two days of walking last week in my new boots. My only concern is that the side of my foot is rubbing against the side of the boot. I may need to get better laces to secure the boot more"

"Not as expected,the tops of boots looked different colours,and very worn looking. Good toe box width but an inner seam is rough inside Will not be waterproof as they have a gap where the webbing meets the boot on ankle site. Will be returning this heavy poorly constructed boots . Not the usual standard I’ve come to expect from other keen shoes and boots."
