I have limited to wide,
"I have limited to wide, footshaped shoes like Altra forever (I do absolutely love them, but always good to shop around!) These shoes are amazing, the stretchy upper and sock feature keeps my feet snug but still allows for wide forefoot to feel comfortable. I am really impressed. Brilliant that the shoe also has a trail gaiter velcro fitting too. The sole looks excellent but an upgrade would be a Vibram or alternate rugged brand- the sole is really good but I'm not certain how it will hold up compared to other shoes - we will see! Injinji socks match perfectly also! Overall very impressed"

the best
"I typically do not like shoes that have a sewn in tongue and these were a little tight on the first wear but after that they were fine. I liked them so much I've bought 2 more pairs. I walk all day for my job (13+miles/day)and generally have an active life so I have a lot of time on my feet and good shoes are a must. I have many other brands and models to choose from but I have grabbed these about 95% of the time the last 3 months over my hokas and brooks. These don't have the aggressive cushioning of the other 2 brands but somehow my feet feel way less tired the next day. So glad I found these!"

Great out of the box!
"I bought these shoes as running shoes after signing up for my first-ever 5K race. I tried them on and did a few things in them, but the race was my first time wearing them for an extended period of time. My feet felt great - supported, comfortable, not squished at all. Excellent cushioning in these shoes. As usual, Keen delivered a perfect fit with no break-in time required!"

Worth the Wait
"Don’t be like me! Don’t wait to grab a pair of these! I hemmed and hawed for a year before finally hitting “buy”, and I only wish I had gotten them sooner. The fitting is true to Keen’s reputation. Nice and roomy with a wide toebox. While not as wide as trail runner aiming for the “natural shape” of the foot, there is plenty of room for feet swelling and gripping the ground. The width may not be the best for those with narrow feet but it was perfect for me and my C width foot. The supercritical foam hit the perfect middle ground between supportive and soft, giving me great ground feel on trail. The 4mm lugs made them suitable for both gravel work and, combined with the solid base, more technical New England terrain. The upper was a knit and surprisingly soft, and, isn’t too warm either. I enjoyed it on short to middle length runs. Overall, Keen for their first foray into trail running took their first steps seriously and made a beautiful and effective first trial shoe for their line. I’m so excited to see what comes next from Keen in their trail running line!"

Perfect fit, I have a

These have restored my faith in running shoes!
"I got a pair a few months ago and have put about 200 miles of walking/hiking/running on them since. I've tried a number of other shoes but haven't really found my "Goldilocks" pair until these! They're so comfortable and have genuinely exceeded my expectations. I use them for long runs, tempo runs, hill sprints, and even reach for them when going on walks just because they're so comfy. I'd love to see a version with a little more weather-resistance as your feet will get soaked in wet conditions. For reference, my feet measure about 4" across flat at the widest point and these fit comfortably for me in my usual size (6. 5)."

I am a pretty tried
"I am a pretty tried and true when it comes to running in Peregrines on the trail, they’re always so solid. Upon hearing Keen came out with a trail runner I was curious and happy I pulled the trigger on these. Insanely light, the midsole is reactive and has achieved goldilocks status by not being too soft and mushy and not being too hard, just right. Feels like it has great energy return. I’ve been running in these for 3 weeks now and the upper is great, the opening secures your foot in to keep debris out. Great room in the toe box for splay but still feel locked down in the mid foot and heel. Handles great on New England trails when stuff gets technical/total granite. Even great on the roads, and it doesn’t feel like the outsole rubber will be quick to wear down. The only issue on the roads is with some grip on wet road lines or patched areas, otherwise they handle great when wet. Although the couple times I’ve used them in the rain my socks have gotten wet but not sopping as I’ve seen some other reviews note."

The best surprise!
"These are, by far, the most comfortable pair of sneakers ever! So cushiony and supportive at the same time. I had them on for 14 hours and didn't want to take them off. Wide toe box, good heel support and great color. I was thrown off by how long the lace area was, but once my pants came across the top of the shoe, it looked like any other style of sneaker I own. Love, love, love them!"

fixable but annoying
"I like the shoes fine, but. . . there is a piece of material sewn around the heel in a rectangular shape. this leaves a tiny piece of loose fabric at the point and it rubs and created a little blister. I fixed the problem with tape, but curving the heel fabric would eliminate the problem"

Find the stretchy material beneath
"Find the stretchy material beneath the top of the laces too high & uncomfortable when flexing ankle. I have high arches so this may not be issue for others. The stretchy fabric accommodates my wide foot but the actual sole is quite narrow. I'm using it in the gym so the fit is less important - wouldn't be able to use it for running due to discomfort"
