I needed covered toe sandals
"I needed covered toe sandals for work, that were also going to be comfortable to wear all day and these fit the bill perfectly. The brindle/shitake colourway is nice and neutral, so will go with most things. Straight out of the box they have been really comfortable, with no rubbing or breaking in period. Although I got them to wear for work, I find I am wearing them most days, as the sole is much more supportive than other sandals I own, which makes such a difference if you have back issues, as I do. Sizing wise, I originally went for a size 6 based on reviews, but ended up exchanging for size 5. 5, which fit perfectly. In case it's useful for anyone, I usually take a size UK5/EU38 in Birkenstock sandals, so if you know what your size is in them, go up half a size for the Rose sandal. I haven't had the chance to test them out in water yet, or on longer hikes, but so far I am loving the Rose sandals and would highly recommend them."

rose sandal
"I have a high instep and high volume foot. I sized up from a 6. 5 to a 7. I usually wear the Whisper and used to be able to wear the 6. 5 but the webbing has been fitting much tighter the last few years, so I have had to get the 7 in order to get the shoe on at all. This is my first time with the Rose, so I got the 7 and it was the right choice as the 6. 5 would have been too tight. Except for that, I like this sandal."

It gets to a stage
"It gets to a stage with plantar fasciitis that I will literally try anything to help! I purchase these honestly not hoping for much but my goodness they have saved my feet and I can actually look Forward to walking around Italy on my holidays. Zero pain, maybe not the prettiest but I don’t care I am pain free!! Love the enclosed toe as I am forever getting gravel in my sandals. I have wide feet and live a wide toe box and I feel these accommodate me really well. If you suffer from feet/ankle swelling these may not suit you but if you have heel/arch pain buy these!!"

the new version fits differently
"I ordered a new pair because I have puppy chew marks on the sole of my old pair, which I have had forever. They are not as comfortable, they feel tighter although they look the same and are the same size. I don't think it's a matter of wearing in so I am returning. I am bummed out because these were my "go to" shoes last winter when I irritating and inflamed the tops of my feet hiking, I couldn't wear any slippers, clogs, or other shoes. I wore my rose sandals with socks for a couple of weeks because they were the only thing that didn't put pressure on the top of my foot. Well, the new ones put pressure on my foot and aren't as comfortable for walking. Maybe I can find an old pair for sale, or try a larger size."
