Walking on a slab of rubber w/ gum on my heel.

"Hoped to like these. Wide toe-box (Keen Standard). Stretchy breathable upper. Easy slip on. Fit great at the ankle with no friction. Good arch support. Then I walked with them. I have no idea what is up with the outer soles. They make a sticking noise on hard surfaces as if I’m walking in a grimy restaurant. On top of that they absorb very little shock and kind-of feel like I’m pounding the floor with a heavy tire on my foot. Hey Dudes don’t offer arch support. Sketchers have a narrow toe-box and never quite fit well at my ankle. My Birkenstock clogs absorb shock better. I’ll continue my search for a slip-on sneaker."
