Conflicted

"I really like the way these sandals look, and can go from extremely casual to a nicer very easily. However, I bought the first pair and they had a crease in the cork foot bed that was uncomfortable. It was there before I tried them on, so I thought maybe it was just from someone that had tried them previous to me. I re-ordered the second pair directly from Keen. They did not have a crease in them when they came, but then when I put them on, it immediately happened again. It feels kind of like it is either pinching my foot or like there is something directly between my foot and the sandal. I have yet to decide if I’m going to keep these. I really want to love them…."

Q&A

I tried the shoes on and with each step it feels like there is a break in the middle of each of the cork footbeds. Wondering if others experienced the same (and did it wearing it long term lead to pain/pinching) or did I get a defective pair?
We have not heard of this being a common issue.
