Best hike/ fishing shoe

"I was tired of wearing traditional hiking shoes getting down to my trout creeks. I wanted a shoe that was water proof and durable. These are it!! They are my favorite out door shoes I’ve ever owned. They are comfortable and mud washes off. The tread on the bottom grip great and no slipping on loose dirt on upward climbs. Your toes do not hurt on descents either. The tongue of shoe stays centered and feels great! I’m not a review writer usually but had to give my two cents on a great product! I’m getting a different pair and will be putting them to the test!"

Spartan Race & Hiking Scotland

"I bought this version of these to replace the previous model (that are still holding up pretty good btw), to do my second Spartan Race and then brought them for a trip to Scotland, it's been a wild mid-life-crisis-year. For the race, I kind of wished they weren't waterproof, since they're a bit warm and then held the water in after they were submerged, but the treads were great on the obstacles. For Scotland, the waterproofing was perfect for the rain and the muddy trails. The treads were great out there too. They are a bit slick on wet hard floors, but that's not what they're built for. I think I might buy the open air version next. Thanks for making such great stuff."

Great the first 2 months

"These shoes were very comfortable the first couple months I had them. 9 months later, I can’t stand them and they will be thrown away. The bottom of the shoe in the front has completely wore flat. The insoles wore out after about 4 months and had to be replaced. Overall comfort of the shoe declined quite a bit the last couple months as well. For such an expensive shoe, I expected more. My Keen hiking boots are great so I had high hopes for their shoes."

"Two weeks in after receiving the Zionic shoe. Positive comfortable right out of box and lots of positive feedback on appearance. They are not the best gripping shoe for slick pavement. WP runsWarm durning a 10 hour shift. I work in light construction so durability is to be determined as they are a sneaker. The price point is high$ 180 but REI had them on sale at $130 I would buy again."

Great Shoe

"Like most Keens, the medium width runs a little wider than most shoes, so they fit me perfectly. Comfortable, like walking on pillows. Using them as a flat pedal cycling shoe, for fitness rides, because flat pedal cycling shoes are all to narrow for me. Using with Raceface Chester flat pedals. Not a stiff as i would like but comfy and great grip ! Also great for walking sections of hike-a-bike. Lightweight. My feet were dry after the ride."

"Liked my older pair of zionics. The new nxt is even better in my opinion. Nicer feeling upper. Fit for myself is spot on. My size 15 feet can be tough to fit, fairly wide across the toes but more moderate midfoot and heel. They fit just right."

A most comfortable hiking shoe

"I was looking for a comfortable hiking shoe, with the emphasis on comfortable. Too many hiking shoes, it seems, have hard soles that tire the wearer out with sore feet at the end of the day. This pair of Keens is the best ever, as far as I’m concerned. They are comfortable, waterproof and have the feel of a well-constructed sneaker."
