"So far I'm delighted with these shoes. I suffer from bunions and athritic toes and the wider fit means they are the comfiest shoes I have felt for years for short walks including hills. It has been very dry so I have still to test how waterproof they are. Similarly, I don't know how long they will last before having to be replaced. I am seriously considering buying a second pair in a diferent colour in a few weeks before the winter. I took another reviewer's advice and bought a half size smaĺler than my normal size. Finally, I also think they look great."

"Bought these 3 days before a trip to Vervex on the Chamonix valley. No chance to break them in. Spent a week walking in the mountains and surrounding area and they felt like slippers."

Very pleased with the shoes

"Very pleased with the shoes Have a wide toe box normally but got the Wide version so even more room as I have EEEE size feet. Reviews say they can take a little time to bed in but after only two short sessions they are very comfortable. As an aside. I have plantaar fasciitis and have put Stepprs insoles in the shoes. Makes them even more comfortable. More than happy to recommend"

I bought a brand new

"I bought a brand new pair of Targhee IV's and paid full price only to be sent a pair of returns that clearly have been worn and creased by someone else. I complained and they sent me a second pair - again same issue, they sent me another pair of returns. So yet again I complained and they sent out a third pair - guess what? Same story. . . . they have sent me three pairs of returned shoes that have been worn and creased by someone else!"

"Good fit okay but the laces are still appalling! Same useless houdini things which can unravel despite tying with a multitude of knots, really poor, these small essential items let the shoe down, I am sorry to say!"
