"My second pair of Keen hiking boots I’ve purchased. After an “out of the box new” 6+ mile SAR mission today I am as pleased with this pair as I am with the last. The wide toe box serves me will. Traction is great and confident foot is a must. Keen has come through for me again. Some make claim that the Keens are too heavy, but when carrying my 24 hour pack with 2-1/2 liters of water, I want and need a boot that will carry the load without failing. I have lighter boots but I’m not willing to risk it."

Nice looking boots but I
"Nice looking boots but I went for the wide fit version as the standard boot was very tight. To be honest there is not that much difference that I can see or feel. The toe box for instance needs to be way bigger for the larger foot. Hopefully they will stretch a bit!!"

Just bought my 2nd pair!
"I just bought my 2nd pair of Targhee Hiking Boots and love them! I hike all kinds of terrain and these boots hold up and are very comfortable. I hike here in Iowa and also in Arizona, and they perform great in both places. Mostly going into the desert in Arizona, I really need a boot that will hold up, be comfortable and protect my feet from the harsh conditions that I usually encounter. Keen makes a great product, with high quality and recycled materials. That's my kind of company!"

Perfect fit, comfortable
"My wife is a USPS letter carrier and she walks 10+ miles a day in all weather conditions in the city and rural. A supportive and comfortable shoe is a must and her uniform requires her to wear black. These are a perfect fit and very comfortable for all day wear. She’s tried other brands but they all hurt her feet. Even though they are men’s, they fit perfectly, just get the size equivalent. Great support and gives her endurance for all day. these shoes are the only ones she can wear. Also they really are waterproof and great traction, excellent support. She did buy a specific insole that she prefers (timberland brand) but the ones that come with them are decent so she keeps them as a backup. I’ll definitely get her another pair, very happy"

Could have been good with
"Could have been good with roomy toe but are crippling. Large arch support actually comes up under heel causing weight not to be spread but concentrated on small area of heel and all the delicate bits of the arch."

"Extremely comfortable, wide fitting boots that require no breaking in. They are a replacement under warranty for an identical pair whose sole separated after 16 months of regular use. Excellent no quibble customer service from Keen. New boots received within 4 days of claim."

Very comfortable and lots of
"Very comfortable and lots of space for my wide foot and long toes. Good ankle support. I covered 20 Km the first day I used them and had no problems. I'm old and not very flexible and the loop behind the heel was very effective in helping me put the boots on. Delivery was delayed by a day but I was kept informed. Delivery on the day was delayed by 2 hours but, again, I was kept informed. I'm impressed."
