"These are fantastic boots. Already covered a number of hiking miles of different terrain and brilliant. I have size 11 and a broad foot and that often means tightness as well as half a size difference between left and right. These cover that by that wider toe box. Superb."

Targhee IV wide
"I like the look of the shoes, as I slipped into them they felt comfortable, however the first time I used them a full day I got blisters around my ankle! And also felt that the she needed a little thicker inner sole, since the first use I have been using thicker socks and that stopped the blisters, however I believe I will be getting some gel soles for them."

Great Boots!
"I have had four foot surgeries so my feet are particular about what I wear. I used to wear another popular brand but they didn't have enough support. I have worn nothing but Keen Targhee's for several years for every day wear and for hiking. Great support and comfort."

Having hiked in another brand
"Having hiked in another brand for many years and with feet on the wide side and now expanding with age, I needed to find an alternative. The Keens are the choice with their generous toe box whilst ensuring secure fitting in the rest of the foot. I finally settled for the extra wide version - best to try both with socks to ensure what is best for you."

Boss Boots
"I put these on as soon as they arrived, and been wearing them since. I had been wearing San Jose for three years. This is a significant upgrade. Triple black with subtle accents looks so boss. These are real grip soles with an arch. No more flat foot shuffling. The lacing system is new to me, and works perfectly. No more eyelets, and the laces are much happier to perform. They seem to be alive. I can lace loose (relatively) or snug, depending on my groove, and the boot still moves with my foot, not off my foot. Its as if the body was engineered to suit multiple foot types, not giving up a true fit. Getting these on and off is not a chore. The toe box is perfect, and the toe flex outstanding. So glad I decided to change my style. Big 'Ups' to Keen. I absolutely love my new boss boots."

Very Comfortable but POOR protection from rocky trail
"Boots ran true to size and were very comfortable. On a smooth trail they would be great, as they were very comfortable and required nearly no breaking in. As a hiking boot being used on a rocky trail, I would advise against this boot. The Targhee II gives much better protection. I am trying the Durand II and hope it gives better protection on a rocky trail."

The boots are very comfortable.
"The boots are very comfortable. So far I've only worn them in the house (as my previous pair are still holding together with the help of some Araldite and the ground is mostly dry. I would appreciate some information on how to protect and preserve the boots. I had hoped there would be some in the box (as my previous ones were inherited from a friend) but there was nothing."

Well made boot
"I used these boots for the first time during a three night backpacking trip in The Needles of Canyonlands. They worked great, not too hot. Kept my feet dry during the rain and had good support with a heavy pack."

90 day review
"They've been awesome. Plenty of support and they can handle abuse. I has expecting them to break down due to repeated wet/dry cycles but they've remained rock solid. I'm very particular about my stuff so when I find something that works I hold fast on it. I'll definitely be ordering a couple more pairs of these."

Great fit out of the
"Great fit out of the box, but lace issues. I’ve only worn these boots once so far. They were comfortable straight out of the box with a generous toe box width that prevents any toe crushing. My only disappointment is that the aglets (plastic lace tips) came off two of the laces immediately, causing them to fray. I had to fix them with tape. Great boot, but the laces need better quality control."
