"I spent time looking for open toe leather sandals that would also give arch support and found the perfect pair! Early days but they fit well and are very comfortable and should be good for all day wear in hot weather. They also look stylish and offer good grip on a variety of surfaces."

Good out of the box

"Good out of the box comfort but not as good as the shoe. This is probably down to getting the tightness right across the combination of the 3 straps and a bit of wearing in so the straps soften. I like the orthopaedic type inner sole. The availability of half sizes is fab! However, there’s a design fault imo. The instep and heel straps aren’t long enough and keep coming undone . If you have high insteps like me then the Velcro bit of the instep strap barely touches the Velcro on the sandal body. I’m going to have to add my own additional Velcro. The heel straps are also too short so on me the strap end is immediately over the middle of the heel where the trouser bottom catches it when I walk and pulls the strap open."

Men’s style for Women, please!

"I am a woman with 8. 5 narrow feet. Keen used to make this rugged style for women. I wore mine out trekking Europe several times along with various moutanous hikes. It took years. Now, Keen women’s styles are all cutesy colors of nylon webbing. Not my shoe. So— I ordered the rugged leather sandal I love from the men’s section. Fabulous. I look forward to many good years of comfortable trekking."

Good fit

"I have a 11-B feet and narrow heels, so adjustability is important to fit my narrow feet. These are easy to adjust and fit well. The foot bed has some cushioning, but is not spongy, which is nice. Very good, non-slip tread on the soles. The velcro at the heels does not latch all the way to the end, causing the grab-tabs to stick out more than I like. Thus far these are way better than the previous Teva sandals I wore out in a couple of years. We shall see how long these last. :)"

Fit very small. . . top strap is too short!!!

"I found my Targhees in my closet today. They looked brand new and I couldn't remember why I put them aside and went back to my older Keene's. Then I remembered the top strap popping off when I wore them. This model is very poorly designed. I wish Keene made open toes the same quality as my H2s. I've had several pairs and love them except when wearing them in the sand. They collect sand unlike the open toed sandals. Too late to return them. . . very disappointing."
