Perfect Campsite & Trail Transition Sandal
"The Keen Newport H2 is the perfect footwear choice for transitioning into once I arrive at our campsite. They are remarkably lightweight and give my feet a much-needed break from heavy boots. My favorite feature is the closed-toe design, which offers excellent protection when I am gathering firewood or walking around in the brush. I don't have to worry about stubbing my toes or getting scraped up by twigs. Beyond just relaxing around camp, they are incredibly comfortable and supportive enough to wear during shorter hikes. If you need a versatile, protective, and comfortable outdoor sandal, these are tough to beat."

I’m bewildered at the comfortability
"I’ve been really impressed with these Keen sandals. They’re comfortable right out of the box with no break-in period needed. The style looks great, and the craftsmanship is everything I’ve come to expect from Keen—top-notch quality. Absolutely terrible. Tried two different
"Absolutely terrible. Tried two different sizes, couldn't get my foot into them without pain. There's no give in the ankle part of the shoe and the bungee laces don't give enough to get your foot in if you have wide feet. Not impressed as all my other Keen shoes are excellent. Really bad design."

Shoe is very comfortable once
"Shoe is very comfortable once you get it on, but it is difficult to get your foot in. The heel strap has limited flexibility and can make it hard to get the shoe on. I appreciate that you don’t want it slipping up and down when you have the shoe on. I’m hoping that with wear it will loosen a bit. Otherwise very pleased with my purchase."

"I’m on my third pair of Newport Keane sandals. Love the way they fit right out of the box. I had one issue with the soul coming undone. But I had worn them for a few years before that happened. Waiting to wear out my third pair, so I can get another pair. ."

Bad grip on the shoe.
"I brought these on a 5 week camping trip in the north eastern united states and I slipped 4 times wearing these. If you are going somewhere with wet conditions, I would not recommend these particular sandals. I'm not even a clumsy person. . . I'm 32 years old and in shape. Experienced hiker with good balance. But no match for sandals with no grip."
