Good shoe
"I have worn the Newport Leather year round since they began selling them. I have owned probably 20 pair. They usually last about a year. They always come apart in the same place, where the back strap meets the heel. I always have a second pair ready knowing this is going to happen. My last pair lasted way less time than expected. I do like the shoe so I keep buying them. Also they are available in large sizes which are hard to find in other shoes"

seems to be lack of quality
"Over the years I have had many styles of Keens. From H2O sandals to hiking boots & shoes. But over the past few years my sandal are not holding up to casual use. straps breaking, the back heal completely pulling out from sole. Again not from hard use! Please keen step up the design and quality. Thank you"

My "go to" shoes from dawn-to-dusk!
"I am on my (3rd) spring/summer season with these KEEN Newport Leather Sandals & just finished cleaning/conditioning the leather. I also took a lighter & burned all the frays, just to give my sandals a more clean appearance. I wear my KEEN's for everyday wear & although I do wear other type shoes depending on occasion, I have found that my KEEN Newport sandals take me to more places/events during the spring/summer season's than any other pair of shoes I own!"

You can't go wrong with these
"This is my fifth or sixth pair of Newports (I walk a lot). They're comfortable and reasonably light, but also sturdy - as good for scrambling over rocks as for ambling along a sidewalk. When I'm offroad, I particularly appreciate the closed toe. The only thing I might ask for would be higher arch supports, but that's just me, and it's not a critical issue. Even on long hikes, your feet will stay happy in these sandals."
