Excellent quality

"Excellent walking / hiking sandals, solid and reassuring construction with good soles and toe protection. Leather uppers are very comfortable in the heat and a half size larger fits well."

Collar too tight
"The elasrtic around the collar of the sandal is too tight. I had to fight with the elastic to get my foot into the sandal. There has to be a better desighn that would allow the wearer to get there foot into the sandal."

This is my second pair
"This is my second pair of Newport Bison. However, this pair has survived and surpassed its previous pair. Why? I took them on my Sicilian holiday, where I used them to climb a 500 meter assent, over 4km, 2 days after Mt Etna’s most recent eruption. They are extremely comfortable, versatile and rugged."
