Beautiful casual almost barefoot style leather

"These shoes are made to be attractive casual looking but in a rounded toe shaped box and barefoot design but with a bit of arch support. They even have toe imprint looking treads so it isn’t by accident. They look great with jeans! I absolutely love them! I normally need a size 10 (euro sizes are more accurate and I wear a 43) but found that the extra toe room allowed me to get a 9. 5 shoe (euro 42. 5) but I don’t have thick feet."

A very versatile shoe

"I like these very much. I was unaware that they did not have removable insoles. I normally put aftermarket insoles made by Superfeet into my shoes. However, the fixed leather insole is quite comfortable and has a little bit of arch support. I would not want to walk in them all day however. I like that the sole is not smooth and has a bit of traction surface to it. Would be nice if the shoe came in more colors besides taupe and black. I bought the taupe ones and they are easy to pair with different outfits. Gray would be nice. I normally wear size 11 1/2 to 12 shoes. I bought these in 11 1/2 and they fit very well so long as I don’t wear socks that are too thick."

A very bad shoe design, poorly made

"This shoe is very poorly made and uncomfortable. There are seams, essentially "flaps" on the inside which would rub against my foot. I knew immediately upon putting them on that these would cause irritation and possibly blisters. Bad manufacturing and structural design. Good looking shoe, but not worth the money."

Could be improved

"I was expecting some padding on the inside of the shoe, just raw leather and nothing else is to me a bit barren. The sealed shoes with no padding on the inside and no ventilation is going to make peoples feet sweat like crazy. Its not a terrible attempt at barefoot 'inspired' shoes. I hope the next attempt is , normal laces , zero drop , breathable , extra wide toe box, high top padded on the inside."

I love them!

"They're really comfortable. And I have "delicate", quite bony feet; I always have to add insoles to make shoes wearable, but not with these. They look sharp. And added bonus: I wear a size 13 and am often sort of embarrassed that my feet look so big. But something about the design of these makes my feet seem quite a bit smaller. Score!"

Unusual design but comfy

"I generally wear a 10, in some shoes a 9. 5, and worried this shoe might warrant a 10. 5, based on other reviews. I have worn them around the house for a few days and while it's an unusual footbed that pushes forward a bit and seems short on length, it really isn't. It fits a bit like a moccasin would, but with arch support that is just right. The leather is quite soft and is quickly shaping to my foot. Basically, it's a shoe that benefits from a little breaking in instead of over-sizing. I worry that a 10. 5 would be loose in the heel cup so my foot would come up in the shoe with each step. I wouldn't say they run small, they run true to size, but right to it, not more generous than that. The wide toe box helps but I will say they will probably not accommodate thick socks. They look really cool and go with a lot of different outfits. Overall, I'm happy, as I always am with Keens"
