What makes Hyperport not waterproof unlike Newport? It has aquagrip but not good at water?
This style has a Washable polyester webbing upper and a Quick-dry lining for active water use.
Buying a pair of Keens for the water was easy when the Newport H2 was the primary option. What is the difference between the Newport H2, Hyperport, Seanik, and Clearwater CNX? I purchased the Clearwater two years ago for something lighter than the Newport, but they are a bit narrow. I am looking for something to wear to the beach and for a trip later this year to Thailand, so weight and comfort are key.
