Comfortable waterproof walkers

"I picked these because they were waterproof and on sale. These definitely fit differently than most of my Keens. The heel support is amazing but they are narrower than I'm used to. It's fine as long as I loosen the laces across the ball of my feet. Very comfortable for walking and I can wear them all day. I do find them a little less comfortable if I'm just standing around."

how much narrower are they than the targhee II? I find the new targhee IV too uncomfortable to wear and am trying to find a new day to day shoe. I have always worn a size 7 in the targhee (35 yrs). Should I get a size 7 in the Leiki waterproof?
