"Absolutely love the Targhee Apex shoe, super comfy, great fit and secure heel lockdown. Wore them for the first time walking the Malvern Hills, 14 miles straight out of the box, no break in required. Roomy toe box allows toes to splay. No hot spots or blisters at all. Cannot recommend Keen enough, they are now my only go to brand for all my hiking and trail running footwear needs."

Great Shoe, Bad Sole

"I love the fit and feel of the shoe as well as the design, however the soles are wearing out already after only a month. Whatever the tan sole rubber is simply does not stand up to trail wear. Sad to give two stars but it's a trail shoe that doesn't seem to like trails."

"These hiking shoes are great if you wanna pick up every rock on the trail that fits inside the cavity on the sole. Or if you want them to just come straight on through."

Boots

"This post is in response to a pair of boots that I have. The first set on the left is my first pair. . . about 3 years old. I liked them so much I got a 2nd pair a year in and left them in the box for a year. . . . now about 6 months into the new pair they are starting to rip apart. . . . my old ones I still use with a insert and are holding up 10 times better than the new pair. Maybe I just got a bad pair? But I ha e raved to a lot of people that these have been my favorite work boots. Thoughts? Thanks, Ariel"
