"Boots are very comfortable, true to size fit & warm. However you cannot stand and slip on , they are pull-ons instead. I currently have an older similar that pair looks nearly the same but you can stand and slip your foot in with no hand assistance. Love those. Just the wrong choice for me."

Love them so far

"Just got these - the ordering and delivery process was easy and quick - so I can’t really speak to the construction or durability of the shoe yet, but they are so comfortable. They feel light on my feet, the sole is very flexible, and the leather is extremely supple. So, yeah, I’m loving them so far! As far as the fit is concerned - I had to click on two sizing questions, in order to submit this review - I am nearly 63 and my feet have naturally spread, so even though I selected that they are true to size, I’m not really sure if they are or not, for the average person. And as far as the width is concerned, I think Keens in general run a little wide, which is why I have five pair of them, but these are a little snugger than some of the other ones I have. But they still fit my widening feet better than most shoes. And as far as the last question goes, whether or not I would recommend this boot to someone, it was easy to click yes, because I have recommended it. Especially since I bought mine in sale at 40% off!"

Bigger finger holes?

"I bought these after jealously looking at everyone else in my home wearing slip on water proof boots. They fit fine, but the finger loops in the boot straps seem a bit small, and I've gotten my digits stuck in them a few times. I would assume that Keen would increase the size of the boot straps along with the size of the shoe. Maybe my fingers are just chubby?"

"Definitely a good boot I went with my gym shoe size maybe more snug than I like after more wear they seemed to stretch out now there perfect yes I do recommend I wear these at work in the mud trenches around water I’m a plumber by trade and they are serving me well so far"

So sad about the Anchorage remake

"I have an older pair that i live in. They are my go to winter shoe/boot. I love that I can step into them easily hands-free andd be protected from the snow. They are wonderfully comfortable and warm. I recently went to buy a new pair and found that Keen had changed the style to a much narrower opening that I had to struggle to get on and off. Once on they felt uncomfortably tight around the ankle. I will have to search for another alternative. So sad! Why mess with a good thing?"

"I always buy my next pair ahead of time. The souls separated from the upper 1month out of the box which put me over the warranty period so I had to buy a new pair. The new model is hard to get on and off time to find a better boot ."

Excellent for 6 to 8 months

"I love the Anchorage 3 Chelsea, but they are NOT close to "ultra durable". They last about 6 months before the sole separates & tears. I'm on my 3rd pair in 2 yrs & all I do is walk. It's sad the boot itself is still fine, but it's no longer waterproof"

Q&A

Are these bendable around the toe box? I have had issues with boots splitting on the edge of the toe box as I often need to bend my feet at work. I want to invest in good boots but don’t want to waste my money if they are not durable.: I’d like to reassure you that all of our shoes are intentionally designed to be flexible in the toe area. This flexibility supports natural walking movements and helps ensure comfort during everyday wear.

Can this boot be worn in summer or is it too insulated: The lightweight insulation may still be a bit too warm for summer weather.
